Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Sarileru Neekevvaru and Stylish Star Allu Arjun’s Ala Vaikunthapurramloo is going great guns at the box office. Both the stars are fighting a bitter battle at the box office to emerge sankranti winner.

In the midst of all his, it is coming out that there are uncanny similarities between Sarileru Neekavaru and Ala Vaikunthapurramloo.

Music Directors:
For both music directors, the respective films happen to be their third collaboration with the heroes. While Devi Sri Prasad scored music for Mahesh Babu’s Bharat Ane Nenu, Maharshi and Sarileru Neekevvaru, Thaman scored music for Allu Arjun’s Sarrainodu, Race Gurram and Ala Vaikunthapurramloo.

Banners:
Both the films are made jointly under two banners. While Anil Sunkara’s AK Entertainments and Dil Raju’s Sri Venkateswara Creations produced Sarileru Neekevvaru, Allu Aravind’s Geetha Arts and Chinna Babu’s Haarika Hassinie produced Ala Vaikunthapurramloo.

Dubbing:
Heroines of Ala Vaikunthapurramloo and Sarileru Neekevvaru dubbed for their roles. Pooja Hegde dubbed for her role in Ala Vaikunthapurramloo while Rashmika Mandanna dubbed for her role in Sarileru Neekevvaru.

Rajendra Prasad:
Rajendra Prasad starred in both Sarileru Neekevvaru and Ala Vaikunthapurramloo.

Re Entries:
Yesteryear actresses Vijayashanti and Tabu made their re-entry on screen. While Vijayashanti played a key role in Sarileru Neekevvaru, Tabu made her re-entry with Ala Vaikunthapurramloo.

Lucky Dates:
The films released on the lucky dates of Mahesh Babu and Allu Arjun. Sarileru Neekevvaru released on Jan 11, the same day on which Mahesh’s Seethamma Vakitlo Siri Malle Chetttu released. Allu Arjun’s Ala Vaikunthapurramloo released on Jan 12, the same day when his film Desamuduru released. All the films turned out to be hits.

Debut:
Both Mahesh Babu and Allu Arjun made their debut under the direction of K Raghavendra Rao. While Mahesh turned Rajakumarudu, Allu Arjun did Gangotri with Raghavendra Rao.
