The former union minister and Megastar Chiranjeevi expressed the wisest gesture on AP 3 capital's row at the need of the hour. As we all know, Mr GN Rao's committee, which was constituted to study on capital issues, recommended three capitals to AP. Accordingly, Amaravati would be converted as the legislative capital, Vizag an executive capital and Kurnool would be the judicial capital.

Megastar released a press note in support of GN Raos' recommendations.

"All-round development would be possible only with the decentralized administration. I hope the CM strategically works on the development of the state. The recommendations of Sivaramakrishnan's committee, Sri Krishna Committee and GN Rao's committee asserted the decentralization for the development.

"Looking into the past events post 1956, it's understood the development was centralized in Hyderabad which led melancholic state of AP post 2014. If at all the same blunder is repeated, people of future generations won't forgive us.

AP has currently 3 lakh crore debts. And then, we need another one lakh crore for new capital. In such case, what would be the fate of North Andhra and Rayalaseema? If at all the same amount is spent on developing three capitals, people get satisfied that their backwardness would get disappeared. On the other hand, the government should take necessary action to safeguard the rights of Amaravati farmers. They need justice at the need of the hour," Chiranjeevi said.
