This weekend's releases haven't given much elation to Tollywood. RGV's political spoof Ammarajyamlo Kadapa Reddlu stood as the miserable disaster throwing its exhibitors into dismal state.
On the other hand, Victory Venkatesh and Naga Chaitanya's Venky Mama hit the screens amid decent expectations. The film carried good openings as well. However, mediocre public talk and ratings threw suspicions on the long run. But then, most of Venkatesh's films starts with average talk and end up as blockbusters. In accordance, Venky Mama is also hoped to be a big hit in its long run.
On the other side, Supreme Hero Sai Tej's Prati Roju Pandaage will be releasing on December 20. As the promos, trailer and songs received very good response, the film is carrying a good hype. Apparently, neither Venky Mama nor other releases of next weekend would damage the prospects of Prati Roju Pandaage at the box office.
PRP was directed by Maruthi under GA 2 Pictures. Rashi Khanna is the heroine.
