Here is yet another feather in Megastar Chiranjeevi's cap. The megastar's blood bank was adjudged the best blood bank again. 'National Aids Control Society', New Delhi and 'Telangana Aids Control Society' have jointly conferred the best blood bank award to Chiranjeevi blood bank. 

In connection with the world's aids day on December 1, Chiranjeevi blood bank would be presented the award at Ravindra Bharathi of Hyderabad.

Chiranjeevi founded 'Chiranjeevi Charitable Trust' (CCT) on 2 October, 1998. Chiranjeevi Blood & Eye Bank is a division of CCT. As of now, lakhs of people were benefited with Chiranjeevi blood bank while around 2000 people were helped by Chiranjeevi Eye Bank. Besides, 3.5 lakh people pledged their eyes to Chiranjeevi Eye Bank. On 10th of June 2006, then President of India, Dr Abdul Kalam, inaugurated the Chiranjeevi Charitable Foundation (CCF) at the Jubilee Hills Check Post in Hyderabad.

Chiranjeevi runs blood and eye banks with his own expenses. The blood bank received best blood bank award many times from previous Chandrababu and YSR governments. In the meanwhile, the management of Chiranjeevi Eye and Blood Bank expressed their gratitude to the donors, mega fans and the staff who rendered their services selflessly.
