Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Ys Jaganmohan Reddy has made cheap comments on Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu, former Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu and Janasena Chief Pawan Kalyan for opposing the proposed conversion of all government schools in the state into English medium schools.

"Our children in poverty should also get educated and flourish. For that, they should study in English medium schools. Some voices were raised against the decision. They asked questions like why the English medium for the poor and is Telugu Medium not enough for them? People like Chandra Babu Naidu, Venkaiah Naidu and Pawan Kalyan asked these questions. Why are they not tolerating any good to the poor? Where are your sons and grandsons studying? Actor Pawan Kalyan’s three wives have four or five children. In which schools they are studying?" said Jagan.

It is clearly evident that Jagan is referring to Pawan Kalyan as an actor and is not treating him as a politician. He also made sarcastic comments on Pawan Kalyan’s multiple marriages. This is not expected from a Chief Minister.

Of course, Ys Jagan made personal remarks about Pawan Kalyan’s marriages during the elections campaign and things did not change even after becoming the CM of the state.

Pawan Kalyan recalled how Jagan’s own media Sakshi opposed the then TDP Government’s proposal of conversion of all government schools in the state into English medium schools, when YSRCP in opposition.

Meanwhile, not just Janasena supporters, but also others are trolling Ys Jagan for his personal attack on Pawan Kalyan who is leader of a party.

Ys Jagan seems to have lost his mind. As a CM of the state, he should not have made such degrading remarks. It is below the dignity of a CM to make such a comment. He has all the rights to criticize Pawan, but why involving his family members in his wicked politics?” question political analysts.

"If they attack you personally, it means they have not a single political argument left," Janasena supporters recall Margaret Thatcher's famous quote.
