Tollywood New Trend: Love At Multiple Phases

Tollywood makers generally follow a trend and if a film in a particular genre becomes a hit, they come with numerous films in the same genre. Sometime back adult content movies swept the silver screen and earlier horror films held the center stage. Now it seems they got fascinated with romantic entertainers in multiple phases.

Generally, movie lovers think romantic entertainers highlight romance between hero and heroine. However, Tollywood filmmakers are highlighting different phases in the life of the hero and hero falling in love with different girls at each stage of his life.

Raviteja's Naa Autograph falls under that genre. Later Naga Chaitanya came with a similar film Premam. Even C/O Kancherapalem followed the same genre. However in C/O Kancherapalem, the makers not only showed romance and love but also seriously discussed caste, religion God etc.

Now Bellamkonda Srinivas' brother Bellamkonda Ganesh is romancing five heroines in his debut film. In the film, he will fall in love with each of the heroines at different stages in his life.

Naga Shourya, Avasarala Srinivas' film too has a similar theme and Sharwanand, Samantha's 96 remake too touches the same genre. Filmmakers will come with more such films, depending on the success of these films.
