Now shocking rumours are spreading about Rajini's remuneration and also the film's budget. Buzz is Darbar budget came to over Rs 150crs and the makers have to give a whopping Rs 100crs to him. This is equal to Baahubali 1 budget. But if Darbar cannot recover that much then Lyca which is producing the film will face the music. Lyca which earlier produced Rajini's 2.0 already got a huge shock.

Is Murugadoss doing justice to the huge budget or a huge budget is thrust on Rajinikanth. If this budget rumours are true then Darbar should become Baahubali kind of hit which is impossible.

The reason behind Darbar budget is Lycaa is banking on Tamil Nadu and Malaysia markets. In the meantime Darbar posters and teasers are turning out to be a routine, bringing back memories of previous cop films.

Movie lovers are reminded of Amitabh Bachchan's Zanjeer, Sashikapoor's Deewar, Vinod Khanna's Amar Akbar Antony, Om Puri's Artha Satya, Manoj Bajpai's Shool, Amir Khan's Sarfarosh, Talash, Ajay Devgn's Ganga Jal. All these had Mumbai backdrop and turned out to be hits in Bollywood.

Down south, Surya's Singham series, Pawan Kalyan's Gabbar Singh series too are cop films and satires are already on that Rajini's pose in the posters is similar to Pawan Kalyan in Gabbar Singh and this is worrying his fans. One has to see whether Rajini's previous track record in Tollywood turnout to be a minus for him.
