Of late movie lovers are hearing the words Pan India movie as Telugu filmmakers are promoting their films as pan India films. Till sometime back people couldn't make head or tail of it but now even B, C centers viewers too are using those words quite often.

Stars and filmmakers are releasing their films across the country targeting the Indian market rather than confining to their particular language. This is known as Pan India films.

Right after Rajamouli's magnum opus Baahubali, these words became very popular. Filmmakers and stars from various languages got stuck by the appeals of Pan India success and recognition. They tried to create another Baahubali but failed in their attempts.

Stars earlier tried to expand their market in other regions but now they got the market like a blessing in disguise.  Rajinikanth got market across the country outside Tamil Nadu and other Tamil stars too got market in the Telugu states. Telugu stars always had a good market in Karnataka.

However, with Baahubali, Prabhas and Rajamouli created a sensation across the country. Drawing inspiration from Baahubali, many films came from the south to cash into the newfound craze for south films across the country. However, except KGF, no other film did well. Actually the makers of KGF too did not expect in their dreams the tremendous success. Elevation of heroism, mother sentiment and emotions worked out well for KGF.

South films like 2.0, Saaho, Sye Raa tried to create pan India sensation. 2.0 did well in Bollywood due to the presence of Akshay Kumar but the film failed to do well in the south. So, one can conclude that 2.0 is a flop.

The same is the case with Saaho. The film did well in B-town thanks to the newfound craze for Prabhas after Baahubali but it turned out to be a disaster in Tollywood. Even down south the film couldn't do well.

Now Chiranjeevi's latest film Sye Raa's case is completely different. The film is doing well in two Telugu states but except for Karnataka, the film is turning out to be a disaster in Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam. One has to wait and see how Prabhas' next Jaan and Yash’s KGF2 will perform across the country.

Bollywood makers who got a huge shock with Baahubali are trying their best to conquer south. However Bollywood films are failing to reach the next level in south though compared to few years back, Hindi films are getting dubbed into other languages and the makers are promoting them rigorously in south. Right from Amir Khan's Thugs of Hindostan to Tiger Shroff, Hrithik Roshan's War, none of the films failed to make a strong impact down south.

Now, not only movie lovers but also analysts are of the opinion that only Rajamouli should come once again to create pan India sensation. Currently, he is busy with NTR, Ram Charan's RRR multi starrer which is slated for a grand release next year.
