That's Why Mahesh, NTR, Charan Became Extra Careful

Even before Rajamouli's Baahubali created sensation across the country and Prabhas attained pan India stardom, Tollywood films showed their power. When Sankarabharanam was released in Telugu across the country, movie lovers cutting across all sections, languages loved the film.

This proved that if a film is good, language is not a barrier. Many in our country watch and enjoy foreign films with English subtitles. But gone are the days that people enjoy Telugu film in Telugu language just like it happened in case of Sanarabharanam. So one requires a pan India tag.

Prabhas attained pan India star image with Baahubali and he with great difficulty managed to retain it with Saaho though the film failed in south languages.

Prabhas said till recently people used to consider whether the story will appeal to Telugu movie lovers. From now, the makers will consider the tastes of people across the country.

Though earlier Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Nagarjuna, Chiranjeevi did few Bollywood films, they never thought of pan India image. Bollywood too branded them as south stars. Of late south stars are getting offers from Bollywood. While Mahesh Babu is getting offers from Bollywood, he is preferring Telugu films only. This is because many Telugu stars know how difficult it is to win the hearts of Bollywood movie lovers.

Pan India stardom lure South and Tollywood stars but it is so near and yet so far. There is a big pit fall and if one is not careful, they will fall in the pit fall becoming naa idhar kaa naa udhar kaa. That is the reason why Vijay Devarakonda, Allu Arjun, Mahesh Babu, NTR, Ram Charan and others are becoming extra careful.
