Last year in December, Telangana Government headed by CM KCR gave a huge shock when Revenue Officials seized Young Rebel Star Prabhas' house after Serlimgapally Tehsildar Vasuchandra gave instructions to remove all the illegal constructions in the 84 acres 30 gunta land in Survey No 46 after all the cases that have been pending for more than 40 years got cleared in the High Court.

Tehsildar passed the orders after Mala Ramulu, Neerudu Lakshmaiah approached court claiming that the land belongs to the private persons. Prabhas approached High Court over the order claiming that the officials acted in an illegal manner.

A bench of Justice V Ramasubramanian and Justice P Keshavaa Rao which heard the plea of Prabhas, found fault with the revenue officials for the forcible dispossession of Prabhas from his 2083 square yards of land at Raidurg, near HiTech city.  It termed the action as unlawful and said the officials did not follow the due process of law. The Court directed the state government to consider the application of Prabhas for the regularization of the land within 8 weeks.

However the Court refused to give any relief to Prabhas and refused to restore the land as it falls under the CS-7 litigation zone. The Court said 'This will earn thousands of crores of rupees for the state and will make easy its job of evicting patently illegal land grabbers from the remaining plots."

The bench however allowed Prabhas to file a civil suit seeking title over it in view of the long possession and purchase etc.
