NTR Vs F2: Strangely Contrasting Records

This year's Sankranthi witnessed releases of four films such as NTR Kathanayakudu, Peta, Vinaya Vidheya Rama and F2 Fun and Frustration. F2 has been the only film that registered blockbuster success at the box office while rest of the films became duds. 

However, an interesting reverse co-incidence was noticed with the results of F2 and NTR. As is already reported, NTR Kathanayakudu had done theatrical pre release business for Rs.72 crores but recovered Rs.20 crores. Having lost more than Rs.50 crores, NTR entered the books of history with the status 'All Time Disaster of Tollywood'. 

On the contrary,F2, which was sold out for Rs.34 crores, is likely to earn Rs.82+ crores share in its full run. 

In a simple equation, F2 earns Rs.50 crores profits while NTR loses Rs.50 crores. This strange co-incidence is extensively being discussed by movie buffs. 

Interestingly, makers of both NTR and F2 are planning the sequels of both the films. While NTR KN's sequel, NTR Mahanayakudu is in its finishing stages of shoot, F2's sequel F3 is yet to get launched.
