Bandla Ganesh Asking For 7o Clock Blade

Comedian turned producer turned politician Bandla Ganesh did lots of hungama after joining Congress Party, just before the elections in Telangana. He announced that he was ready to contest from any constituency and even took oath ceremony before media. He was not allotted ticket, but was appointed as Congress spokesperson.

What’s more in almost all the TV interviews he proclaimed to slit his throat, if Congress loses in the elections. “If Congress doesn't come to power, you bring 7o clock blade. I will slit my throat in your presence in the TV Studio. If Congress wins, you should offer sweets to me. I will commit suicide if Congress doesn't come to power.”

However, Maha Kutami led by Congress face huge defeat in the elections and since then Bandla Ganesh went missing. Finally, he came out to have darshan of Lord Balaji at Tirumala Tirupati Temple. Ganesh reacted to his statement that he made before the elections.

“Firstly, I wish Telugus a happy Vaikunta Ekadasi. I wish everyone will have the blessings of the god. There have been rumors that I was hiding. There’s no truth in it. I was actually in misery after Congress losing the elections. Apparently, people believed in TRS.”

When reminded him of his statement, Ganesh stated, “My words were actually destined to motivate party workers. You should not take them seriously. If you media people ask me, I’m ready to cut my throat.”

He concluded saying, “A Loss today simply means an opportunity for Victory tomorrow.”
