Charan Uncle’s Family Fighting For Fort

Many people are unaware of the glory and history of Domakonda Fort. However the fort came to the light when Mega Star Chiranjeevi's son Mega Power Star Ram Charan married Upasana, granddaughter of Kamineni Umapathy Rao, one of the heirs apparent of the fort, in 2012. 

According to the latest Domakonda Fort is in legal tangles. There is property dispute going on between Ram Charan's father in law Anil Kamineni who renovated the fort and Anil’s father Umapathy Rao, retired IAS officer, K Rajeshwara Rao and K Satyanarayana Rao.

Though the family parted ways after dividing the property, fresh controversy erupted when Rajeshwara Rao and Satyanarayana Rao approached court. 

People are aghast that instead of turning the historic fort into a popular tourist destination, the family is fighting over the property.
