Rajamouli Never Cared About Story!

SS Rajamouli, the master storyteller Indian cinema has ever seen in the history is today the world attraction. While some say, he is Indian James Cameron… others say he is a magician who weave emotions so close to Indian sentiments. 

As a great person said, Indians are emotional fools… director Rajamouli by-hearted the same and his DNA filled with such simple working sentiments. That is why biggest of his blockbusters including Baahubali, Magadheera, Chatrapathi, Simhadri, Vikrmaarkudu etc relied on heart touching emotional strings.

As Baahubali is the subject of importance for time being, definitely it has broad similarities with Rajamouli and Prabhas past blockbuster combo Chatrapathi. 

While Ramya Krishna reprised Bhanu Priya character, Rana is same as Shafi and Prabhas is Prabhas in both. Difference is the magnificent backdrop of Mahishmathi mattered the most and resulting in a visual spectacle called Baahubali 2 else the emotional sentiment and drama between character is same.  

For those who argue on Rajamouli and Vijayendra Prasad’s story selection abilities, here is the answer. Feature film is more of a visual medium. Till the time, a story teller is sincere, honest to his own adopted style of narrative tugging our heart strings presenting the characters effectively on the big screen, none really bothers about story.

In that way, who knows this father-son duo might deliver one more record breaking blockbuster with the same evergreen mother-son and sibling rivalry thread. Undoubtedly, Jakkanna is the most engaging story teller this generation’s world cinema is blessed with.
