US: Audience Less, Ticket Prices More!

As we know, a blockbUster Telugu cinema collects a share of Rs.10-12 crores in the Us and which is exactly the same number to that of the Ceded area's collections of Telugu states. However, as far as the number of Telugu audience who watch the movie in both Us and Telugu states are concerned, a huge difference is observed by the analysts. 

According to them, the number of Telugu audience who watch Telugu films is very less in the Us comparing with the number of Telugu audience in any area of the Telugu states. Even then the collections in the Us are more or less similar to Ceded area of the Telugu states.

For an instance a big film's ticket is priced around $20 during the first weekend of the movie's release in the Us. If this money is exchanged into Indian rupees 10 audience can watch the same film in Telugu states with the same price. If at all the makers of Telugu films take more care so as the film is watched by Americans apart from NRIs the collections in the Us will be phenomenal for Telugu films. Let's hope for the best.
