Apparently, former union minster Chiranjeevi has not fallen to the category of those politicians who act like serving for the society during the power and get disappeared after their defeat in the elections. Though the congress party showed disastrous performance both at the center and in the AP, Chiranjeevi has not forgotten his responsibilities for the development of residual AP. As of now, he has taken following measures on his part for Seemandhra's reestablishment.

* It was due to Chiranjeevi's request, the AICC president Sonia Gandhi wrote a letter to the PM, Narendra Modi seeking special status to the AP, release of funds for Polavaram and various other projects. This letter will play a significant role as it can be treated as a catalyst for the fast implementation of various development programs in the state.
