Profits Could Have Been High for '1'

Soon after ‘Aththarintiki Daredi’ is officially declared of joining into the 100 Crores club of Indian cinema, Mahesh Babu’s ‘1 Nenokkadine’ has also made Telugu film industry proud by becoming the first film to complete the pre-release business at Rs.80 Crores with Eros International. This means, 14 Reels Banner producing the film on high budget of around Rs.50 Crores has already pocketed Rs.30 Crores as profit. If this is a risky move for Eros, then director Sukumar will be a relaxed man now. 

Yes, it was alone Sukumar blamed for sustained postponement in release and extended shooting schedules of the film which escalated the budget by manifolds. In fact, 14 Reels producers could have bagged still higher profits if the project is wrapped in less than 30 Crores. Even then, the profit margin is still high for now. So, congratulations to Mahesh Babu because he is a sleeping partner for this film!
