The narration starts in an interesting and action packed manner but from then on everything fall apart as quickly as it starts. There are many action sequences and intense intimate scenes but everything looks directionless bringing a tame end to the first half.Many expected a better second half but it turns out to be even worse. There are many female actresses but none of them got a powerful role to make an impact. Geetu Mohan Das tried to attract viewers with brother sister relationship, father -son sentiment and many romantic elements but everything looks disjointed and ended up testing the patience of all and irritating them.Even when people wait patiently praying for the end, they will get another shock in the pre climax and climax with psychological elements. The story has many threads but none of them are answered in a convincing manner and few of them despite the lengthy runtime left unanswered and the screenplay turned ridiculous to the core. The direction turned out to be a huge disappointment. The script turned out to be lackluster. Dialogues are just ok and dubbing made the matters worse.Geetu Mohan Das completely failed to do justice to the stardom of Yash and his character turned listless and aimless on the screen. When the main character itself turned out in this way, one can imagine the characterisation of other roles. All lacked emotional depth and came with over the top performances.The songs tuned by Ravi Basrur, Vishal Mishra, Tanishk Bagchi are not up to the mark. They impact looked forced and failed to make an impression. Ravi Basrur scored the background score and it is ok at times but most of the time it turned out to be below average. But at times, she looked odd on the screen especially in the close shots.Ulka Gupta performed well in her role. She played the pivotal character and emoted well on the screen. Shravan Reddy played a good role and showed variations in different roles with his dialogue delivery, expressions and mannerisms. Jovika Vijaykumar made an impact in the role of a girl who gets possessed by evil spirit. He tried to thrill viewers with a horror thriller with spiritual elements. The entire first half is narrated in an interesting manner maintaining the suspense and unraveling the twists in an apt manner. The first half narration is decent and the screenplay is intact and racy keeping the interest levels of the viewers quite high setting the tone for the second half.However, MS.Raju loses plot in the second half with convenient screenplay. Instead of the protagonist unraveling the mystery of Agadha, other characters reveal everything to her, leaving nothing for her to do, thus diluting the over all impact. To the top of it, repetitive scenes impacted the flow of the narration. However, he generates interest in the runup to the climax before ending it in a decent manner.Nani Chamidisetty with his cinematography created the desired impact. He showed the scenes in an impactful manner using the color combinations and camera angles perfectly. The VFX and Graphics are of good quality. They could have however taken more care regarding the graphics. Art department could have done a better job as artificiality crept in the sets. The music of &nbsp;Rakesh Venkatapuram is good. He made a powerful impact with his background score elevating the scenes to the next level. Editing of Junaid Siddique is good in the first half but could have been far better in the second half. Dialogues are decent. This resulted in routine elements creeping in diluting the interest levels. The pre climax and climax is ok and the film ends on a decent note. A little finetuning of the script, doing away with convenient screenplay and adding more twists and turns, adding more scary and horror elements would have added value to the final outcome. Considering all these aspects, Cinejosh goes with a 2 rating for Agadha.&nbsp;

He looked menacing on screen. He establishes three characters King, Jackie and Queen in an interesting and exciting manner.However he fails to explore them deeply by elevating their character arcs. He touched only at the top of them and one gets a feeling that the job was only half done. While the first half established the characters of various people, second half tried to show them when they reach their peaks. There are few interesting scenes but with better screenplay, things would have become more interesting.The cinematography of Nagesh Banell is good. He showed the scenes in a visually appealing manner. The music of Tejaswi Poornachandra is good. The background score of Saumit Deshmukh is good and added value to the narration. Dialogues are impactful. Editing of Shravan Katikaneni is ok but could have been far better. Director KK seems to have drawn inspiration from Maniratnam's classic Thalapathi and the characters more or less resembled the same. A little finetuning of the script, even powerful screenplay and gripping narration exploring the three characters divining deep into them would have turned the output into a more powerful and impactful one. Considering all these aspects Cinejosh goes with a 2.25 rating for KJQ.

He came up with a simple story and blended it with action and romantic elements. Many expects Lokesh Kanagaraj to debut with an action entertainer. But the story had completely different blend of police atrocities and a commoner's fight against them. Arun Matheswaran did not deviate from the subject and even drag the romantic and love tracks with unnecessary lip locks, hugs and songs.Though even few romantic scenes slowed the pace of the film, he ensured that he quicky shifted to action genre to keep viewers interest glued. The first half ends on a decent note with the cat and mouse game between the cops and the rebels. The second half continues in the same way with the introduction of new characters and the pre climax connects chords with all with the film finally ending on a predictable note. The predictability in the story, illogical scenes and few boring elements undid all the hard work.The cinematography of Mukesh is good. He showed the period look in the story in a appealing and relatable manner. Anirudh Ravichander's tunes for the songs are just ok. The songs had a montage touch. But he elevated the scenes with his unique and terrific background score. He showed variety in the background music. He showed his creativity by scoring background in a poetic manner. Prasanna. GK's editing is quite fine but at times there are few repetitive elements. He came up with a hilarious horror thriller to entertain movie lovers. He starts the narration in a stylish manner in Korea before moving to Penugonda . After the introduction of protagonist in a typical mass way &nbsp;he shows the heroine. The narration treads in a familiar trope and screenplay assumes a routine flavor. To the top of it, the over usage of Korean language puts off the viewers. The interval sequence and the possession of the spirit excites all, setting the tone for the second half.The second half's gangster role is dragged to the core. While few comedy scenes involving Varun Tej and Satya evoked laughter, others looked forced. The climax takes everyone by surprise and though looked different didn't leave the desired impact. The story ends in a funny way with the lead to the sequel.Thaman's music offered nothing new. The songs are few and didn't make much impact. Thaman's background music followed the same template. He however with the background music elevated the scenes. Manojh Reddy with his Cinematography showed the scenes in a realistic way. CGI and VFX looked subpar. Editing of Satya G left a lot to be desired. Dialogues are ok and couple of them are hilarious.
