'Hum' was released in the year, 1991 while 'Baasha' was released in 1995. So, whatever the movie that was said to be inspired from the concept of 'Baasha' has, in fact, got inspired from 'Hum'.

Hiding the above fact, Dasari Narayana Rao blindly stated that 'Baasha' movie was an inspiration to many movies, when he was unveiling 'Baasha' book. On the other hand, Chiranjeevi's fans are saying that 'Khaidi', a 1983 film is the real inspiration of 100s of films in entire South India of its kind and many heroes tried to act like Chiranjeevi in the movie later.
