Virgin getting married

The Virgin Mobile, India brand ambassador Genelia is getting married to her heartthrob, Ritesh Deshmukh on February 3. The Konkan beauty was in love with the Maratha boy, who sneaked into tinsel world from a political family.

As a prelude to the marriage, a function will be held at a posh hotel in Mumbai and the wedding, as always in case of celebrities, will be a private affair with only family and friends, a long list of course, gracing the occasion.

Ritesh is a close family friend of Bachchans and Genelia worked with Big B in the Parker pen ad. She then shot into fame taking offers from Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam films and stole the hearts of youth.

Bommarillu hoisted her to fame in Telugu, while she was noticed in Boys and went on to fill the charming side of many films. Born into a Roman Catholic family, which hails from Mangalore, Genelia was very popular in ad films which paved the way for her entry into films.
