Speculation on Vishwambhara release. Mega Star Chiranjeevi long time back lined up a socio fantasy entertainer Vishwambhara under the direction of Mallidi Vasishta of Bimbisara fame. Excitement increased at the announcement of the project as Chiranjeevi after a long time locked a socio fantasy entertainer and it brought back memories of his yesteryear classic Jagadeka Veerudu Atiloka Sundari.

However, everything evaporated with the first glimpse and teaser as the substandard VFX and Graphics left all shocked. Chiranjeevi also started concentrating on his next project Mana Shankar Vara Prasad Garu directed by Anil Ravipudi. The film is releasing on 12 Jan 2026 as Sankranti special.

In the meantime, Vishwambhara is back in the news. Speculation is increasing on the film's release. Inside talk is the makers are planning to release the film during June 2026. They are keen to comeup with quality project without compromising on the graphics and VFX.

The film stars Trisha, Meenakshi Chowdhary and Ashika Ranganath as the female leads with Kunal Kapoor playing the role of the antagonist. Keeravani is the music director.
