Former Chittoor MP Nuthanakalva Ramakrishna Reddy died on Saturday  morning at a corporatye hospital in the city. He was 80 when he breathed his last. He was ailing from kidney problems for the past few months.

He was electd to Lok Sabha thrice on Telugu Desam ticket from Chitttoor. He had also represented Punganur Assembly constituency for three terms. His son N Amarnath Reddy is the sitting MLA from Palmaner.

He would be consigned to flames at his native village Kalva in Punganur on Sunday.Telugu desam president N Chandrababu Naidu expressed his condolences with the bereaved family.
