The Election Commission on Wednesday  finalized  the tenure of the newly elected MLCs  from  Hyderabad and Rangareddy  district through lottery system.

According to the draw  of  lots Telugu Desam MLC, Patnam Narender  Reddy will  continue for a full term  of  five years. The  Congress MLC MS Prabhakar will  continue  as  MLC  for three  years while  MIM   candidate Syed Amin Jafri’s tenure  will  be there for one  year.

The lots  were drawn in the presence of the  public at Jubilee  Hall on Wednesday.  As   reported earlier,  Governor,  E.S.L. Narasimhan, ordered a draw of lots on June 2 to decide the curtailment of tenure of the three newly-elected MLCs from Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy districts.
