Yanamala wants Governor to publicise letters

The Telugu Desam on Monday demanded that Governor E S L Narasimhan make public his letters to the Centre on the financial problems the state was facing.

In a press note released to the media, Telugu Desam politburo member Yanamala Ramakrishnudu alleged the Governor was overstepping his role and not acting as per the Constitution and bringing disgrace to the post by interfering directly in the administration.

“The Governor's statements on his letters to the Centre are confusing,” he said.The problem cropped up due to inefficiency of Chief Minister K Rosaiah, he alleged and added that the Congress powers that-be are using the Governor as a political tool.

He demanded that the government should release a white paper on the financial position of the state so that a clear message goes to the people.
