TDP opens Control room

Telugu Desam Party on Thursday set up a control room to monitor the cyclone affected districts in the state.

Launching the control room at NTR Trust Bhavan on Thursday, party president N Chandrababu Naidu asked the party men to participate actively in rescue, relief and rehabilitation works in the cyclone affected districts.

The control room phone no is 040-3026999. He said the control room would offer round-the-clock services and provide information and help to flood victims.

Naidu also conducted a tele-conference with district leaders and monitored the flood situation in the districts with them. He appealed to party members to provide relief material to flood victims without waiting for the government’s help.

He also appealed to them to shift low-lying people to safer areas and set up rehabilitation centres in affected areas.
