The Legislative Council on Tuesday plunged into turmoil when Congress member B.V Mohan Reddy complained against Council Deputy Chairman Md Jani for not giving him an opportunity to speak on Rashtriya Madhyamika Sarva Siksha Abhiyan on Monday.
When the Council met for the day, Congress member Mohan Reddy raised this issue in the Council and complained to Council Chairman A Chakrapani demanding apology from the Deputy Chairman and withdrew comments for terming him as ‘rowdy’.
Deputy Chairman admonished three members, P Sudhakar Reddy, G Srinivasulu Naidu, B Mohan Reddy and asked them to leave the House for not abiding by his directions on Monday.
When the members insisted that they be allowed to speak, he ordered them to sit down. Mohan Reddy protested against the tone and tenor of Jani's remarks by rushing into the well of the House.
