KTR Effect: Tollywood Remains Silent

Elections in Telangana state were conducted on 7th of this month and results will be out tomorrow. Exit polls predict TRS will win with huge margin, wherein Andhra Pradesh octopus Lagadapati Rajagopal forecasts Mahakutami will form government this time. We need to wait for one more day to know the poll results.

Meanwhile, many wonder why Tollywood celebrities have kept mum and did not support any single party in the elections. It is because almost all the celebrities maintain friendly relationship with CM KCR’s son and IT Minister KTR.

They were in a position that, they can’t support Mahakutami which would affect their relationship with KTR and they can’t even support TRS as this would cause harm to their association with Chandrababu Naidu.

Rather becoming a target post polls, they remained silent and did not support any party. Interestingly, stars like NTR and Kalyan Ram did not campaign for their own sister Suhasini who contested from Kukatpally constituency on TDP ticket.

However, Tollywood stars may lend their support to any of their favorite party or leader in upcoming elections in Andhra Pradesh.
