JAC extends deadline for resignations

The Telangana Jont  Action Committee has extended the deadline for the resignations till the month end.  Elaborating, at a media conference here on Tuesday on the resignations, the JAC convener Kodandaram  said  deadline has  been extended  till the end of this  month. The  people of Telangana would boycott the legislators after February 28 if the leaders fail to submit their resignations irrespective of the party they  belong to.

Going by the statistics, it is the fifth time that the Telangana JAC has extended the deadline for the resignations. The JAC was forced to take this step as there is no alternative for them to rope in all the leaders fromTelangana to toe  their line.

With growing indifferences among  the party leaders on the functioning of   JAC  it remains to be seen how  long will they hold  together to fight for the cause of Telangnana.
