KCR undergoes eye surgery in Delhi hospital

Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao on Wednesday underwent an eye surgery in a hospital in Delhi.

"Hon'ble CM's Cataract procedure on the right eye completed successfully in Delhi today. Thanks to Dr. Sachdeva," Tweeted IT Minister and KCR's son K. Tarakarama Rao.

According to sources, it was a minor, but long pending surgery. The Chief Minister will be able to attend his regular work in a week's time.

Besides KTR, Nizamabad MP and daughter K. Kavitha, minister and nephew T. Harish Rao and other family members and ministers were present in the Centre for Sight Hospital when KCR underwent the surgery which lasted for about half-an-hour.
