Gas cylinders lifted from Dattatreya's house

Hyderabad, Feb 5: The president of the State unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (Bjp), Mr Bandaru Dattatreya, has to taste the dexterity of the lifters of gas cylinders.According to a case filed with the Musheerabad police in the city, some unidentified persons gained entry into the building in which Mr Dattatreya is staying in the wee hours of Friday and made good with four cylinders kept in the balcony on the second floor of the complex.  The police registered the case and investigation is on.“When there is no security to the building in which a public representative and senior leader of a political party is staying,

what about the fate of a common man,” the locals ask.Of late, gas cylinders are being subjected to theft in many parts of the Twin Cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad. Such incidents are reported even from the posh areas of Banjara Hills and Jubilee Hills. The police have even asked the citizens not to keep the gas cylinders outside their houses.However, in the case of Mr Dattatreya, the four cylinders were lifted from the balcony on the second floor of the building.
