Hyderabad, Jan 18: Paying rich tributes to her late father and former chief minister NT Rama Rao on the occasion of his 14th death anniversary, Union Minister for Human Resources Daggubati Purandareshwari said that she would concentrate on bringing pressure on the Centre to announce ‘Bharat Ratna’ for the departed leader.She also released a book title ‘The Other Side of Truth’ authored by her husband and Parchur Member of Legislative Assembly, Daggubati Venkateshwar Rao. The Union Home Minister said that it is very important to publicise the life of the late leader for the younger generation to realise his greatness.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Venkateshwar Rao said that he was working on the second volume of the book that would reveal more facts on NTR’s life.The late leader’s family members, Hari Krishna, Junior NTR, Jaya Krishna, Kalyan Babu, Mrs Bhuvaneshwari and Lokesh  also  visited NTR Ghat and paid tributes.NTR’s widow Laxmi Parvathi also offered floral tributes. Party leaders, Devender Goud, Teegala Krishna Reddy and Talasani Srinivas were among those who paid tributes to the late leader at NTR Ghat.
