Hyderabad, Dec 29: Expressing solidarity with the Osmania University Joint Action Committee students, who are staging fast demanding the initiation of process for formation of separate Telangana State, Bharatiya Janata Party state president Bhandaru Dattatreya on Tuesday said BJP will support the pasage if the Centre introduces the Telangana Bill in parliament.Dattatreya told newsmen that all the 116 BJP MPs will extend support for the passage of theTelangana Bill if the Centre introduces it in Parliament.”

He also urged the government to lift all cases against the agitating students on university campuses.  He appealed to the government to withdraw all police forces from the campus to bring peace on varsity.Meanwhile, BJP floor leader in State Assembly, Krishen Reddy participating in a rally close to Osmania University said smaller states like Jharkhand, Uttaranchal and Chatiisgarh ensure progress and growth. the bifurcation of Telangana from Andhra Pradesh will only add another Telugu-speaking state into the  federal setup of the country, Reddy added.
