Government Chief Whip Gandra Venkataramana Reddy on Saturday accused TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu of inciting the people of Seemandhra region for his own political gains.
Addressing a press conference at the Congress Legislature Party office here, Gandra said that Naidu did not participated in the debate on Telangana Bill in the Assembly. However, he made several statements outside the House to incite people over the statehood issue. He said that Naidu was trying to mislead people to rebuild his shattered political image.
Gandra demanded that Naidu should tender an unconditional apology with the people of Semeemandhra people.
He also appealed to the Seemandhra people not to fear anyone or anything. He assured that the lives and properties of Seemandhra people in Telangana State would always be safe and protected.
