Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu appears to be exploring the power of social media network.

Naidu, who was known as Hitec CM while in power, is a late comer on Twitter. With over 22,000 followers, Naidu has tweeted only 42 times since he opened his account on September 18. "From my first computer in 84 to twitter today. From transparency & accountability in governance to creating employment. Thanks to technology!" was the first message he posted on Twitter. Although, on an average, he tweets daily once, sometimes he directly attacks the government and his opponents through strong messages.

"Thrown out of his own state Madhya Pradesh, searching for shelter in Andhra Pradesh by divisive politics," Naidu tweeted on Thursday to target AICC General Secretary Digvijay Singh.

On Friday, Naidu slammed the State Government for the unscheduled power cuts in the State. He also said that the Power portfolio was lying vacant in the State. "Power cuts in AP. 3hrs in HYD, 6hrs in towns & 12hrs in rural. Power portfolio vacant, people paying for govts inefficiency and corruption," the TDP chief tweeted.

Source say that Chandrababu Naidu is planning to get more active on Social Media Network by increasing the frequency of tweets.
