The last day of the first leg of Budget Session of the State Legislative Assembly had a stormy start on Tuesday with the opposition members forcing the adjournment of House within 10 minutes of its commencement.

As soon as the House met, the opposition parties moved different Adjournment Motion seeking discussion. While the TRS wanted Telangana resolution in the House, the YSRCP insisted on discussion on farmers' issues. The CPI and CPI (M) wanted debate on energy crisis while the BJP wanted discussions specifically on energy crisis in Telangana region. Independent member Nagam Janardhan Reddy gave Adjournment Motion notice on Value Added Tax.

However, Speaker Nadendla Manohar disallowed all the adjournment motions consequently leading to uproar in the House by the opposition parties which subsequently led to adjournment of the House for half-an-hour.

The opposition parties resumed their protests when the House met again at 10.55 AM. The Speaker announced that all questions listed for Question Hour as deemed to be answered. Later, he allowed Revenue Minister N Raghuveera Reddy to make a statement on Revenue Sadassulu and the House then resumed discussions on energy crisis.
