YSR Congress has slammed the Rail budget, terming it as anti-poor, disappointing and ignoring the State interests and criticised the lack of mechanism to track the promises made and to gauge the performance of the ministry.
&ldquo;The relevance of budget has been reduced drastically with fares being increased ahead of the budget and the announcements not being vouched for, due to lack of appraisal on promises versus performance,&rdquo; the party leaders DR Somayajulu and Janak Prasad told reporters here on Tuesday.
Tough the State has sent maximum number of MPs to parliament and the budget was presented by a Congress minister for the first time in recent past, Andhra Pradesh got a raw deal in terms of new lines and new projects, they said.
Not only in getting new lines and projects but the State lost out even in upgrading of existing facilities and a major factory was diverted to Haryana, from where the Railway Minister hails, while Kurnool, represented by junior minister Kotla Suryaprakash Reddy, was given small crumbs, they said.&nbsp;
Earlier when UPA partners were Railway ministers, they took care of their region very well and now the Congress ruled State was not accorded the same measure of benefit, they said adding that the promise of new lines and projects are only for announcement sake as the ministry has neither the will nor the funds to undertake them in the ensuing year.
Way back in 1991, a coach factory was allotted to State and it was supposed to come up at Khazipet and there is no movement even today. With the lack of mechanism to reconcile between promises and performances the exercise of presenting railway budget is reduced to mere rhetoric, they said.
The projects announced in the budget should be time-bound to have more sanctity. &nbsp;
When the fares were already increased in January to net Rs 6,000 crores the relevance of budget is lost unlike in early days when fares would be increased only while presenting budget. The only point of interest is about the new lines and projects and the Centre has little or no funds to honour these commitments, they said.
&ldquo;Railways should be running on service orientation and not on commercial proportions and there is no forum to verify whether the promise of new lines and projects are kept. The fares are hiked through backdoor and the budget is disappointing,&rdquo; they said.
The promises cannot be kept since 33 per cent of the Central revenue will be going towards interest. The Centre should try to improve its performance as the revenue, trade and current account deficits will have a telling affect on railways with the hike in freight charges.

When Lalu Prasad Yaadav was Railway minister it was Bihar all the way. When Mamta Namerjee was the minister it was a Bengal budget. But when Congressmen took guard, it is nobody&rsquo;s budget as it appears.&nbsp;
Though a couple of projects went to Haryana and Kurnool, represented by Railway Minister Pavan Kumar Bansal and his deputy Kotal Suryaprakash Reddy, nothing noteworthy took place for the State. There were lot of expectations from the Kurnool MP but nothing concrete came out. There was no mention of pending projects in his home district.
Barring one express train from Kurnool to Hyderabad and a passenger train from Kurnool to Nandyal, the MP from Kurnool could not muster any further support. Railway Wagons workshop is one project that would be coming up in Kurnool.
Other proposals like changing the name of the railway station to Kurnool city rail station, train to Mantralayam, extension of reservation counter, escalator and other facilities did not see the light of the day.

To the top of it, repetitive scenes impacted the flow of the narration. However, he generates interest in the runup to the climax before ending it in a decent manner.Nani Chamidisetty with his cinematography created the desired impact. The interval sequence and the possession of the spirit excites all, setting the tone for the second half.The second half's gangster role is dragged to the core. While few comedy scenes involving Varun Tej and Satya evoked laughter, others looked forced. The climax takes everyone by surprise and though looked different didn't leave the desired impact. The story ends in a funny way with the lead to the sequel.Thaman's music offered nothing new. The songs are few and didn't make much impact. Thaman's background music followed the same template. The series comes with 7 episodes and each episode has the duration of 25-35 minutes. Many gripping courtroom dramas like Amitabh Bachchan's Pink and its remake Pawan Kalyan's Vakeel Saab came. He drew inspiration from them and tried to tell them in a realistic way.The narration starts in an interesting manner and the director does well balancing both sides of the views. The first three episodes keep the interest levels intact, but when one expects it to reach the next level with intense courtroom arguments, the director loses steam.From then on everything turns repetitive, testing the patience of the viewers. The slow pace of the narration ends up irritating the people. Dialogues turnout to be pretty ordinary. The expected emotions and drama in the courtroom arguments goes missing completely. Even the character arcs are not created properly after the initial introduction. The series and the narration lacked the required twists and turns.The first four episodes are predictable and offer no real twists. The fifth episode had a small twist but it did not excite anyone. The entry of Sameera only generates little interest. Many characters and their relations are not established properly and also there are many illogical scenes and convenient episodes.The background score of Anil Chiluvuru is good. However the cinematography of Suryaa and editing of Kishore turned out to be below average. But once again the Samuthirakhani character puts off all initially with the weak role. The second half screenplay turns out to be racy and director decided to concentrate on main plot rather than spend time on unnecessary comedy scenes. The twists and the climax take the film to the next level.Kushender Ramesh Reddy with his cinematography added value to the narration. He with his camera angles got the desired impact on the screen. Gyaani's background music elevated the scenes and ensured the narration sails smoothly maintaining the same tempo. The editing of Sree Varaprasad is ok but could have been better as there are many scenes that slowed the pace of the narration. She got realistic and hard hitting dialogues and she came up with natural and realistic expressions and emotions. He drew inspiration from physics' popular Newton's Third Law and came up with a crime thriller. He started the narration without wasting time showing the investigation scenes of the murder. The first half goes at a steady pace with narration intact except for few drags here and there. The screenplay is racy and with twists coming now and then, the first half turns out to be a decent watch.This set the tone for the interesting second half. While many expected the investigation to take off to new heights, the director Karna concentrated on highlighting the emotions and this impacted the pace of the narration. The screenplay went for the toss and this put off the viewers disconnecting them completely.To the top of it, the uneven pace, convoluted screenplay and investigation detailing instead of showing in action, concluding in dialogues, turned out to be a huge disappointment. What started as a thrilling ride turned out to be a bumpy ride in the end.The cinematography of Veda Vyas Gottipati showed the scenes in a natural and impactful manner. He used the camera angles and color combinations to maximum impact to show night scenes in an effective and realistic way. Anil Palasa's editing turned out to be a mixed bag. His editing is tight for most of the first half but he lost focus in the second half including many unnecessary and repetitive scenes.The background music of Sinjith Yerramilli created a good impact and elevated the scenes to the next level taking viewers into the narration keeping the interest levels intact. The songs however acted as the speed brakers. Dialogues are natural and realistic and at times thought provoking. Had he toned down the emotional scenes and included more interesting twists and turns highlighting the investigation procedure and process, things would have been different. The story is decent and screenplay is racy for most of the first half before going for the toss in the second half. Little finetuning of the script would have added more punch to the final output. Considering all these aspects, Cinejosh goes with a 2 rating for Newtons 3 Law.

Right from the start till the finish, much to the shock to all he followed the same routine outdated formula which wouldn't have worked even two decades back.The narration has the same commercial elements, hero introduction, hero-heroine romantic track, stunts and songs, etc. The first half is full of such scenes, and the narration goes on testing the patience of all with slow pace, predictable screenplay, and outdated story.The hope of better second half nosedives completely with even more monotonous scenes. After a point of time, people look towards the exit door for respite. Even the entry of Mohan Babu doesn't improve the narration and add value to the proceedings.The music tuned GV Prakash Kumar tuned offered nothing new. The songs just come and go like a template and do not add any value to the narration and story. Instead, they turned out to be speed brakers. The background score tuned by GV Prakash Kumar elevated few scenes.Jayakrishna Gummadi with his Cinematography showed the Tirupati locations and proceedings in an appealing manner.
