The Telugu Desam president on Tuesday appealed to the State Government to extend all help to the physically challenged persons on humanitarian basis.

Addressing a delegation of physically challenged persons at his residence, TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu said that the government should instill confidence among the family members of physically challenged and support them by extending all facilities. Expressing serious concern over their problems in the society, he said that the condition of poverty stricken families has become unbearable. He demanded that the government grant Rs 1000 monthly allowance to all physically challenged.
