My blessings are with Jagan : Rosaiah

Hyderabad,Oct  20 :I like  to work with all and I don’t have any particular group in the party,Chief Minister K Rosaiah emphatically made this statement at meet the  press program organised by the  Basheerbagh Press Club here on Tuesday.Commending the wok  carried out by the NGOs and  the officials of the Irrigation Department during the recent  floods, the  CM  said that even the media played   a responsible role in  coming to the aid of  the flood affected people in the state. My primary responsibility is to carry out the orders of High Command . I am not in the race for CM’s candidature,Rosaiah made  it  clear. There is nothing wrong in the  ministers  who  wanted Jagan to be  as  the  Chief Minister. They have got every right to express their opinion. At the same  time  they did not say  I  am an useless fellow  not fit  to  be  in this  post.

There is  no  truth   in the  statement  that the  ministers  are  keeping  themselves  away from the CM.They  are  all very  busy  with their  own affairs,’’  he said. As  you  all know every one in the party has to stand  by the  High Command’s  decision, the  High Command’s  decision is  always  final.  If the MLAs  disobey  the  High Command’s  orders  then  it  is   wrong but  they have got every  right   to  express their opinion, he said.I  am ready to  work  with  any one  whom  the  High Command   appoints. Our  party is a  national party  so the  High Command  is  trying  to  select the leader in a  democratic  way.

My best are  always with Jagan,  I  wish  that he  should follow the  footsteps of his  father  and  become  a  good  leader in the state. To that  end I  will do my best  to help him,’’  the  CM  said. It  is  unfortunate that  the state even before recovering  from the  tragic  death of  Dr  Y S Rajasekhara Reddy,  it has to face  the  fury of  floods,’’ Rosaiah  lamented.Referring  to  YSR’s  death, he said  if  it  is  engineered by  any  particular  person or  group, the  culprits should  be identified and  punished according  to  the law.

The various  welfare schemes  launched by   late YSR  for  the benefit  of  the  people in the state, the  chief minister  assured the  media  that  he would continue all  the  welfare  schemes  of  YSR.  If  there   are  any  rectifications  to be  made  for the  perfect  implementation of these  programs  they  will soon be rectified he  spoke with an air  of confidence.Regarding  the   free zone  issue  the CM  said that  the  Government  will  file  a review petition in the  Supreme Court. We have already  taken the suggestions  of all parties in the  state  on this  issue, Rosaiah  further added.
