Gandhigiri relevant even today, Azad

Congress In-charge of State Affairs Ghulam Nabi Azad on Thursday stated that Father of Nation Mahatma Gandhi’s peace messages were relevant even today.

Talking to media persons after releasing a New Year diary on `Gandhi Global Family’ at Gandhi Bhavan as part of his visit to the State, Azad called upon people to follow ideals of Gandhi to come up in their life.

He expressed confidence that the New Year would bring prosperity and well being to the people of state.

Pradesh Congress Committee president Botsa Satyanarayana stated that the state should be remain united for the all-round progress in sectors. He said the country would make rapid strides in development with unity and integrity.

The PCC chief statement assumes importance for remaining the state united when the agitation for bifurcation of state going on.

Gandhi Global Family president Rajeswar Reddy was also present.
