KCR's reluctance part of match fixing with Congress: Errabeli

Senior Telugu Desam Party leader and MLA Errabelli Dayakar Rao on Tuesday hinted that there was something fishy about the fact that Telangana Rashtra Samithi  president K Chandrasekhar Rao’s reluctance to camp in New Delhi and make efforts for the creation of a separate Telangana state.

Expressing his bewilderment before media persons here, Mr Dayakar Rao suspected that there was some sort of ‘match fixing’ between KCR and the Congress party, considering the TRS chief’s reluctance to carry out his threat of stalling Parliament over the separate statehood issue. The TDP MLA also wondered why KCR was ‘playing games’ while sitting in Hyderabad.

Mr Dayakar Rao wondered that while KCR had promised that he would stall the Parliament proceedings if the Centre failed to introduce Telangana Bill in the Lok Sabha, what was the reason behind him not visiting New Delhi?

Answering his own question himself, the TDP MLA stated that KCR is not visiting New Delhi as he had ‘match-fixing with the Congress’.

Mr Dayakar Rao also opined that a separate Telangana state would only be possible with the united and collective efforts of all leaders across the political spectrum. He asked KCR and Medak MP Vijayashanthi to put their words into action and stall proceedings in Parliament to achieve Telangana.

The Telugu Desam Party MLAs from Telangana are in New Delhi to meet President Prathiba Patil, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Union Home Minister P Chidambaram to press for the introduction of a Telangana Bill in Parliament.
