As part of non-cooperative agitation called by Telangana Political Joint Action Committee, Telangana Rashtra Samithi MLA K T Rama Rao travelled in a city bus without taking the ticket along with his supporters. According to reports, the TRS MLA boarded the bus at Khairatabad bus stop and travelled up to the Assembly to attend the first day of the Budget Session, which began here on Thursday.
After boarding the bus, Rama Rao raised `Jai Telangana’ slogans. Later, the bus driver and conductor also raised `Jai Telangana’ slogans in the bus. Before attending the Budget Session, KTR along with his followers went to Martyrs Memorial, Gun Park to pay tributes to Telanganaites, who laid down their lives for the cause of Telangana.
Along with KTR, Telugu Desam Telangana Forum convenor Nagam Janardhan Reddy, TDP MLAs Errabelli Dayakar and Uma Madhav Reddy also travelled in the bus without buying tickets. They demanded introduction of Telangana Bill in the Budget Session of Parliament.
