According to sources, the PCC has sent the raw footage as well as transcripts from the programme, beside copies of the newspaper and its translation to the High Command in its report.

Complaints had been flooding in from many senior Congress leaders after the beaming of the programme, which they charge to be detrimental to the High Command. The Congress leaders are demanding ‘stringent’ action against the Kadapa MP, who they allege, is using the channel to malign the Congress president and damaging the image of the party.

The Core Committee is likely to discuss the issue which arose after the state government announced tests for the recruitment of Sub-Inspector, and the free zone issue. The adverse remarks by Sakshi would also be discussed, the sources say.
