Gambhir behind Rohit and Kohli retirement?

The sudden retirement announcements from Hit Man Rohit Sharma and King Kohli with in few days time came as a shock to all the cricket lovers and their fans.

Many say, Team India coach Gautam Gambhir must have forced them to take this shocking decision. Ever since the shocking test series defeat against New Zealand at home, pressure increased on Rohit and Kohli to perform well in the Australia series.

The way star spinner Ashwin was treated also came to discussion. The team management did not inform Ashwin that he wouldn't be included in the first test. Ashwin who was hurt informed his decision to retire and the team management included him in the third test but due to pressure he couldn't perform well and Ashwin retired in the middle of the series without even telling the reasons. It is not clear whether the team management insulted or illtreated him.

Now, Rohit Sharma few days back itself showed his love and talked about playing test cricket and going to England. Same was the case with Virat Kohli. Even Gautam Gambir said " “Till the time they are performing, they should be a part of the team. Performance ensures selection."

Many hold Gambhir the reason behind Rohit Sharma's retirement. Report of rift between Gambhir and Rohit came when Gambhir spoke about superstar culture in the team. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli share good bonding and the moment Rohit decided to retire, Kohli decided to follow the suit.
