Lokesh Kanagaraj on which Rajini didnot do Vikram, Kamal didnot do Coolie. Lokesh Kanagaraj gave a resounding hit to Universal Hero Kamal Haasan with Vikram which turned out to be a blockbuster. He is now directing Super Star Rajinikanth in Coolie.

Speaking to scribes, Lokesh Kanagaraj shared interesting details. He said "Rajini sir shouldn't do ‘Vikram’, Kamal sir shouldn't do ‘Coolie’. All of this includes the set pieces as well. What sort of action scene would be in Rajini sir's film and Kamal sir's film is a mind game, right? You can't change that."

Speaking about Rajinikanth, he said “What I wrote for him will be good only if he does it. If it has to be changed (for some other actor), then the whole piece will have to be reworked.”

Coolie is slated for grand release on 14 Aug. The film stars  Nagarjuna, Upendra, Soubin Shahir, Sathyaraj, Shruti Haasan and Reba Monica John in key roles while Pooja Hegde is doing the special song. Aamir Khan is doing a cameo.
