Demanding that Chief Minister K Rosaiah drop Ministers tainted by corruption from his Cabinet, Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday urged Mr Rosaiah to order a probe against them and come clean on murky deals.

Talking to media persons after emerging out of meeting convened at NTR Trust Bhavan to form a TDP state-level coordination committee to tackle corruption and misdeeds of Congress, Mr Naidu alleged that corruption was rampant in the state. He also alleged that the Congress leaders were looting the state unchecked.

The TDP chief charged that the Chief Minister lacked the capability to deal with corruption–tainted Ministers and also lacked the guts to act against them.

However, he said the TDP has guts to deal with Ministers tainted by corruption.

If the Chief Minister is ready to order probe into misappropriations and corruption, the TDP would submit full details over the charges, the main oppositions leader said.

Despite serious charges being leveled against Government Advisor KVP Ramachandra Rao, the government was continuing him in his post shamelessly, Mr Naidu pointed out.

The TDP chief said that his party would undertake state-wide during the next three months to create awareness on the corruption and misdeeds of Congress leaders among people.

He said ‘Palle Palleku Telugu Desam’ programme, which is scheduled to begin on October 10 to create awareness on people problems, has been rescheduled and will begin from October 20.
