WB CM is angry with The Diary Of West Bengal trailer. West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee is angry with the film The Diary Of West Bengal and the hard-hitting and sensational trailer. It is known that Mamata Banerjee, CM of West Bengal banned The Kerala Story film accusing the makers of trying to divide the communal fabric of the society. However, the Supreme Court of India rapped the Bengal government for the same and asked them to provide protection for the theatres that screen The Kerala Story film.

At that time, Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee accused BJP ruled Central Government of funding more such films against her. Now the film The Diary Of West Bengal and its trailer is stunning all. The film is directed by renowned filmmaker Sanoj Mishra. The trailer spoke of Mamata Banerjee's rule and she favored the Muslims and following which Hindus are getting driven out and said that the situation is more dangerous than in Kashmir as Mamata has been supporting the Rohingya terrorists.

Following the trailer, West Bengal police sent a notice to the director. The notice read "Ref: Amherst Street Police Station, Kolkata Case no. 90, Dated-11.05.2023 U/s 120B/153A/501/504/505/295A Indian Penal Code read with section 66D/84B Information Technology Act’ 2000 and section 7, Cinematograph Act’ 1952. In the exercise of the power conferred under sub-section (1) of section 41A of CrPC I hereby inform you that during the investigation of above referred case, it is revealed that there are reasonable grounds to question you to ascertain the facts and circumstances of this case."

The director was asked to appear before the police. The film was produced on produced by Jitendra Narayan Singh and is presented by Wasim Rizwi Films.
