Aha has been one of the rare regional streaming platforms to have betted big on chat shows to drive its viewership. During the lockdown, while one platform after the other went big on movie acquisitions, Aha had come up with two uniquely themed talk shows – All is Well, Sam Jam hosted by Suma and Samantha. Both were successful and played a crucial role in enhancing the popularity of the platform. It’s this confidence that has prompted Aha to bring together a new (third) season of Rana Daggubati’s famous talk show No. 1 Yaari.

The promo of the No. 1 Yaari’s latest season, launched a few days ago, marked the return of Rana in the host avatar, a role that he’s taken up rather naturally with his gift of the gab. Some of the celebrities who featured on Aha’s talk shows include Vijay Deverakonda, Chiranjeevi, Allu Arjun, Naga Chaitanya, Nani, Sai Dharam Tej and Nithiin. It’ll be interesting to see if any newer names will make it to No. 1 Yaari this time.

The format is expected to have minor tweaks and the digital platform may give Rana more liberty to ask questions beyond the usual interviews.  In recent times, Ali’s talk show, Alitho Saradaga, has been very popular among television viewers, roping in an interesting mix of yesteryear and current generation celebrities. Will Rana manage to ring in the same enthusiasm of the other seasons? Watch out for the show on March 14 on Aha.
