Keeping in this trend, Tollywood producers are pumping in huge money into such stories, visual values, and international-level technical execution. But many feel it is risky without having star heroes in their projects.In these projects, the recovery model is the main challenge. Now, just theatrical business alone is not enough. Overseas rights, satellite, dubbing, overseas streaming, music, and digital-related rights together form the production venture. Makers of NTR biopic are apparently following the strategy of Baahubali by releasing first look poster of actors from the film. On the eve of senior actor Kaikala Satyanarayana who is playing the role of legendary filmmaker Hanumappa Muniappa Reddy, they have released his look from the film. In the poster, Kaikala aka HM Reddy is seen observing negative film through magnifying glass.
HM Reddy was a producer and director known for his works in Telugu cinema. He directed the first south Indian talkie film Kalidas shot in Telugu and Tamil. He then produced and directed the first full length Telugu sound film, Bhakta Prahlada in 1932.
Good thing is Kaikala Satyanarayana is finally doing a film after a long gap and more importantly its biopic of NTR with whom he associated for uncountable films.
Balakrishna is playing NTR in the film titled NTR directed by Krish. The film co-produced by Balakrishna himself will release during Sankranthi, 2018.

While the first half established the characters of various people, second half tried to show them when they reach their peaks. There are few interesting scenes but with better screenplay, things would have become more interesting.The cinematography of Nagesh Banell is good. He showed the scenes in a visually appealing manner. The music of Tejaswi Poornachandra is good. The background score of Saumit Deshmukh is good and added value to the narration. Dialogues are impactful. Editing of Shravan Katikaneni is ok but could have been far better. A little finetuning of the script, even powerful screenplay and gripping narration exploring the three characters divining deep into them would have turned the output into a more powerful and impactful one. Arun Matheswaran did not deviate from the subject and even drag the romantic and love tracks with unnecessary lip locks, hugs and songs.Though even few romantic scenes slowed the pace of the film, he ensured that he quicky shifted to action genre to keep viewers interest glued. The first half ends on a decent note with the cat and mouse game between the cops and the rebels. The second half continues in the same way with the introduction of new characters and the pre climax connects chords with all with the film finally ending on a predictable note. The predictability in the story, illogical scenes and few boring elements undid all the hard work.The cinematography of Mukesh is good. He showed the period look in the story in a appealing and relatable manner. Anirudh Ravichander's tunes for the songs are just ok. The songs had a montage touch. He makes a style statement with his swag, and his hairstyle overall is impressive.Rithika Nayak got a minimal role in the film. She got confined to playing second fiddle. She looked gorgeous on the screen.Satya created a laughing riot with his hilarious antics. His dialogue delivery, mannerisms and expressions entertained all.Muralidhar Goud is good and VTV Ganesh is ok in his role tailor made for him. He came up with a hilarious horror thriller to entertain movie lovers. He starts the narration in a stylish manner in Korea before moving to Penugonda . After the introduction of protagonist in a typical mass way &nbsp;he shows the heroine. The narration treads in a familiar trope and screenplay assumes a routine flavor. To the top of it, the over usage of Korean language puts off the viewers. The interval sequence and the possession of the spirit excites all, setting the tone for the second half.The second half's gangster role is dragged to the core. While few comedy scenes involving Varun Tej and Satya evoked laughter, others looked forced. The climax takes everyone by surprise and though looked different didn't leave the desired impact. The story ends in a funny way with the lead to the sequel.Thaman's music offered nothing new. The songs are few and didn't make much impact. Thaman's background music followed the same template. He however with the background music elevated the scenes. Manojh Reddy with his Cinematography showed the scenes in a realistic way. CGI and VFX looked subpar. Editing of Satya G left a lot to be desired. Dialogues are ok and couple of them are hilarious. The series comes with 7 episodes and each episode has the duration of 25-35 minutes. Many gripping courtroom dramas like Amitabh Bachchan's Pink and its remake Pawan Kalyan's Vakeel Saab came. He drew inspiration from them and tried to tell them in a realistic way.The narration starts in an interesting manner and the director does well balancing both sides of the views. The first three episodes keep the interest levels intact, but when one expects it to reach the next level with intense courtroom arguments, the director loses steam.From then on everything turns repetitive, testing the patience of the viewers. The slow pace of the narration ends up irritating the people. Dialogues turnout to be pretty ordinary. The expected emotions and drama in the courtroom arguments goes missing completely. Even the character arcs are not created properly after the initial introduction. The series and the narration lacked the required twists and turns.The first four episodes are predictable and offer no real twists. The fifth episode had a small twist but it did not excite anyone. The entry of Sameera only generates little interest. Many characters and their relations are not established properly and also there are many illogical scenes and convenient episodes.The background score of Anil Chiluvuru is good. However the cinematography of Suryaa and editing of Kishore turned out to be below average. Anand is fine in the role of Abhirami's husband in the film. He at the start evoked sympathy and then the twist surprises. But once again the Samuthirakhani character puts off all initially with the weak role. The second half screenplay turns out to be racy and director decided to concentrate on main plot rather than spend time on unnecessary comedy scenes. The twists and the climax take the film to the next level.Kushender Ramesh Reddy with his cinematography added value to the narration. He with his camera angles got the desired impact on the screen. Gyaani's background music elevated the scenes and ensured the narration sails smoothly maintaining the same tempo. The editing of Sree Varaprasad is ok but could have been better as there are many scenes that slowed the pace of the narration. She got realistic and hard hitting dialogues and she came up with natural and realistic expressions and emotions. Ravi Varma did well in the role of the father who once lived a royal life before suffering losses.Neha Pathan played an important role and she did full justice to it. He drew inspiration from physics' popular Newton's Third Law and came up with a crime thriller. He started the narration without wasting time showing the investigation scenes of the murder. The first half goes at a steady pace with narration intact except for few drags here and there. The screenplay is racy and with twists coming now and then, the first half turns out to be a decent watch.This set the tone for the interesting second half. While many expected the investigation to take off to new heights, the director Karna concentrated on highlighting the emotions and this impacted the pace of the narration. The screenplay went for the toss and this put off the viewers disconnecting them completely.To the top of it, the uneven pace, convoluted screenplay and investigation detailing instead of showing in action, concluding in dialogues, turned out to be a huge disappointment. What started as a thrilling ride turned out to be a bumpy ride in the end.The cinematography of Veda Vyas Gottipati showed the scenes in a natural and impactful manner. He used the camera angles and color combinations to maximum impact to show night scenes in an effective and realistic way. Anil Palasa's editing turned out to be a mixed bag. His editing is tight for most of the first half but he lost focus in the second half including many unnecessary and repetitive scenes.The background music of Sinjith Yerramilli created a good impact and elevated the scenes to the next level taking viewers into the narration keeping the interest levels intact. The songs however acted as the speed brakers. Dialogues are natural and realistic and at times thought provoking. The story is decent and screenplay is racy for most of the first half before going for the toss in the second half. Little finetuning of the script would have added more punch to the final output. He tried to entertain viewers with an intense love story in the action backdrop. Right from the start till the finish, much to the shock to all he followed the same routine outdated formula which wouldn't have worked even two decades back.The narration has the same commercial elements, hero introduction, hero-heroine romantic track, stunts and songs, etc. The first half is full of such scenes, and the narration goes on testing the patience of all with slow pace, predictable screenplay, and outdated story.The hope of better second half nosedives completely with even more monotonous scenes. After a point of time, people look towards the exit door for respite. Even the entry of Mohan Babu doesn't improve the narration and add value to the proceedings.The music tuned GV Prakash Kumar tuned offered nothing new. The songs just come and go like a template and do not add any value to the narration and story. Instead, they turned out to be speed brakers. The background score tuned by GV Prakash Kumar elevated few scenes.Jayakrishna Gummadi with his Cinematography showed the Tirupati locations and proceedings in an appealing manner. Even that is dragged to the core with unnecessary scenes and this undid all the decent work in the first half.The pre climax action sequence is creative and attracts all and the emotional climax brings curtain to the film in a decent manner.Viswas Daniel's cinematography is visually rich. The color pallets he chose is apt and added value to the output. The songs tuned by Mani Sharma are melodious and shot in the backdrop of beautifully erected sets. He elevated the scenes with his background music. Editing of Santosh Naidu is ok but could have been better as there are repetitive scenes that slowed the pace of the narration. Jana Nayakudu (2026) Movie: What's BehindThalapathy Vijay has a tremendous fan following among all sections of movie lovers. Excitement increased when he teamed with H.Vinoth for Jana Nayagan, his final film before his political entry. The film which was supposed to release before the Tamil Nadu elections, got delayed due to various controversies and also censor hurdles. In-between producers faced lot of tensions with many backing out and when the film got leaked online. The first half starts with Vijay trying to raise his daughter without any fear and then the narration shifts to the introduction of the antagonist. The entire antagonist episode and there after looks silly and ridiculous to the core.The substandard and poor graphics turned the scenes into a tedious watch. the first half turns out to be stale with no real high elements. The second half continues in the similar manner and the core soul and emotion of Bhagawanth Kesari's Beti Ko Sher Banao goes for a toss. The pre climax and climax turns out to be childish with video game like elements. One gets a feeling that even video games or TV serials have better graphics.Anirudh Ravichander is known for his impactful works and he tuned the music and composed BGM for the film. However it turned out to be extremely disappointing as the songs failed to entertain and also not shot in an appealing manner. His background music failed to make any impact. He couldn't be blamed as the narration did not give him chance to do so. The editing of Pradeep Raghav turned out to be miserable. There are many scenes that tested the patience of the viewers. Had he used the editing scissors there wouldn't have been any film at all. The cinematography of Satyan Sooran became a disappointing affair. The dialogues failed to connect chords and most of them are politically motivated. Instead of elevating the emotions to the next level and better than the original, Vinoth concentrated on elevating the heroism of Vijay and also promote his political ideology. This resulted in the film turning out into a half baked one. Even the elevation scenes failed to make an impact and Vinoth shockingly killed the soul of the original. He failed completely with his story, screenplay and direction. The so called changes he made to the original instead of adding value, diluted the essence of the film and the message it intended to give to the society. Jana Nayakudu is touted to be the farewell film for Vijay but it turned out to be a failed farewell. He deserved better rather than this crap. He performed well as a middle class husband and father and came up with realistic and natural performance. He decided to thrill the views with money heist story. The story revolves around robberies and scams. He managed to excite all with the thrilling elements with the scenes before and after the robberies. He highlighted how the opinions of people and middle class family changes in the backdrop of money heist.Interest levels increase with the starting scene of the bank robbery which takes viewers into the story. However later the introduction of characters slowed the pace of the narration. But the twists and turns involving the lead character and others and the negative shades increases the curiosity levels. The police investigation and others in the first half brings and end setting the tone for the exciting second half.However, the second half goes for a toss with the hero kidnap scene and various sub plots. While the first half is natural, the second half had shades of artificiality and illogical scenes. Couple of scenes in the second half turns it into a decent one.Ramess' Editing could have been far better as there are many scenes that slowed the pace of the film especially in the second half. Cinematography showed the scenes in a natural and realistic manner and Dinesh Purushottaman followed the standard template and took viewers into the story. JakesBejoy's background score is in sync with the story and he managed to keep the scenes the intensity levels intact.
