"If I win, I'll be there" : Rishi Kapoor

Rishi Kapoor didn’t show up at the recent Filmfare Awards function inspite of being nominated in the Best Actor for a supporting role category for his lovable performance in Love Aaj Kal. He and wife Neetu stayed back in New Delhi despite knowing that their son Ranbir Kapoor, who was in the US, stood a good chance of picking up a trophy that night. A candid Rishi said, “My son is not a flash in the pan.

He will keep getting awards through his career. However I can’t go to every awards function picking up his trophies. If I win, I’ll be there.”
Agreed  Chintuji, but you could take that pain for Ranbir. After all, Ranbir is the future of Bollywood.
