Stampede at Salman function

Hyderabad, Jan 16: Bollywood popular star Salman Khan created a flutter at the Prasad’s Multiplex theatre in Hyderabad on Saturday resulting in the fans going mad in which one person was injured.Salman and the heroine of the film Zarine Khan were here on Saturday to promote his flick Veer. As the news spread that the Bollywood handsome hero is around, hundreds of fans, both boys and girls, gathered at the Prasad’s Multiplex near the Necklace Road.It was a virtual mania as the fans began rushing towards the place where the charmingly handsome hero of the Hindi tinsel world was standing.

With the teeming youths climbing onto the staircase in a mob, the staircase got damaged and some of the fans fell down in which one of them was injured critically.Earlier, talking to the media, the macho man Salman said that the film Veer would create a new trend in the film world and will break all the records. The Telugu version of the movie is likely to hit the screens on January 22.Made by popular producer Anil Sharma Salman plays the character of a Pindari warrior in the film who fights for social justice.
